A couple of years ago we posted this article when Hailey Burrows from Bulmershe Division received her Queens Guide award at Thirtover Place. However, as well as a local presentation, you can also choose to attend a national event, and Hailey recently went along a presentation at the House of Commons to receive her award!
In March 2015, 1st Shinfield Brownies made their first visit to the PGL Activity Centre based at Liddington; the participants on this trip were twelve Brownies and two leaders. Since 2015 the unit have run three more trips there, with the latest taking place in October this year.
Earlier in the year year, they offered the trip to Brownies and Guides across the Shinfield District and ended up with 84 girls and 16 adults, making the trip a magic total of 100 attendees!

On 26th November, Rainbows in Berkshire got to attend a princess themed party to celebrate the Rainbows 30th Anniversary! The event took place at Garth Hill College in Bracknell, and the girls got to try out lots of activities and crafts, met some princesses and even got to eat some delicious cake.
