First Response Trainings Fully Booked

Both the full and refresher first response trainings on 14th October are now fully booked up.

Remember, you can still book on to our other future trainings - we recommend you do this early so you aren't disappointed! You can see details of these on the right under 'Events and Trainings'.

Guiding at Reading Freshers' Fayre

Representatives from the Districts of Earley, Shinfield and Whiteknights attended Reading University's Fresher Volunteering Fair on 19th September.

With the help of some food giveaways they managed to get 70+ students to register their interest, with some existing leaders, leaders in training and unit helpers amongst them!


Well done everyone, and we look forward to meeting all the new volunteers in the Reading area!

Venturing Outdoors Training, February 2018

Are you worried about taking your Rainbows out to find a pot of gold? Are you brave enough to take your Brownies down to the woods today? Concerned the ghosts and ghouls will get your Guides on a night hike? ...

Then this is the training for you! Designed to provide you with the tools and confidence to venture out of the meeting place, it will assist you to encourage the girls to choose a fun and dynamic programme.

It will take place in Wokingham on 3rd February. For more details, view the event here.

Autumn Training

We would like to invite all Leaders, Unit Helpers, Young Leaders and other members of the Senior Section to our County Training Day.  It is a fun day to meet up with your Guiding friends, chat and make new friends, and along the way learn some useful things to take back to your unit.  We will provide lunch and some great trainers - all free of charge.

There is a particular focus on outdoors and international opportunities, so come along and find out about a lot of exciting ideas.
