International Advisors Report

We held an International Day for 13+ guides and senior section members, in conjunction with our County Training day.  We had 16 girls attend and we went round the 5 WAGGGS regions.  There has been a resource produced for this event which was sent to all the girls who attended to give them lots of ideas to take back to their units.

We held a successful County INTOPS days where we had 15 girls attend and we selected 4 girls to attend the Region selection.  Of these 4 girls, 3 are attending the 2015 Japan Jamboree.

We also held a County International trip to Iceland where 23 senior section and 5 leaders went to Iceland.

Several other units and individuals have also been aboard with Girl Guiding on 2013, with more scheduled in 2014.

There is a new International Training scheme available to all leaders who want to find out more about international guiding to use with their units and for those leaders interested in going away internationally with GirlGuiding.
